Stamp River Steelhead Report - Medium Low

With more Rain on the Way

 March 3 2014

Its been a steady two weeks on the Stamp. The river finally came out of its drought conditions with intermittent rains and some snow accumulations now melting.

Fish are now spread throughout the entire system with Winter Steelhead in the low
er,Winter Steelhead Close Up with egg bead middle and upper sections.  The upper has been producing a little more than the lower but that has been switching back and forth a bit.

Lower river trips are encountering fish daily as in the Upper river as well.  The seal predation problem does not seem to be as big of problem this year and abundance of fish has improved over last year.

With more rain on the way conditions should maintain for the next few weeks.

Our team is on the river daily so please feel free to call or email for an up to date report.
