The Bite Is On!
Ucluelet Fishing Report May 2 2017   The trips out of Ucluelet have started and the bite is on. 

Inside Barkley Sound (protected waters) have some nice Chinook feeding aggressively.

Guides (and brothers) Shaun and Carey Evans were out dialing in the equipment and had a great morning in the heart of Barkley Sound only a short run from Ucluelet.

The fish were shallower than expected at 60-90 feet deep. They were taking spoons behind flashers. When the bite is on, no need to fish with bait.

These fish are strong and will put an angler to the test. Game on!

Ucluelet trips have started, still space available May through mid June.
