Stamp River Salmon Outlook:

The outlook for the Stamp River is a great one! We have been advised to expect normal limits for area 23 terminal returns.

Chinook: DFO has announced that the forecast is for moderate to abundance for Chinook again for this system as ocean conditions continue to improve for our local salmon.

Coho: The same DFO outlook is calling for a moderate return of Coho similar to last year so we look forward to another great season.

Limits: With terminal surplus abundances, we anticipate full limits for Chinook and Coho with usual regulations.

Timeline: The peak run of Chinook and Coho are early September through to the end of October. Look for Steelhead to join the mix in mid October.
