Although we can provide rods/reels it is ideal if you bring your own as it is all very specialty equipment.
Fly Fishing Trips
Fall Salmon
- Fishing license with Salmon Conservation Endorsement
(see License Information)
- 8 to 10 weight fly rod - Switch Rods are ideal
- Disc drag fly reel (any brand)
- WF Sink Tip lines 200,300,400 grain tips
- Light weight waders & boots
- Rain coat (Gore-Tex or breathable is best)
- Warm Clothing (pants, sweater, Jacket, etc to wear in layers)
- Polarized glasses
- Good sun hat
- variety of salmon flies (guides also have some)

Fall Steelhead
- Fishing license with Steelhead Conservation Endorsement
(see License Information)
- 7-8 (or 9) weight fly rod
- Disc drag fly reel (any brand)
- WF Floating and Sink Tip lines 200,300,
- Trip may involve light hiking so have good fitting Light weight waders & boots
- Rain coat (Gore-Tex or breathable is best)
- Warm Clothing (pants, sweater, Jacket, etc to wear in layers)
- Polarized glasses
- Good sun hat
- variety of Steelhead flies (guides also have some)

Gear Fishing Trips
Things to bring:
- Fishing license with Salmon or Steelhead Endorsement
(see License Information)
- Gear or Spin Fishing Equipment is provided. Please advise if you require it.
- Bring Waders & Wading Boots (fishing is mostly from shore or gravel bars). Some trips are from the boat and only rubber boots are required. Check with office regarding type of trip.
- (REMOVE CORKS/SPIKES FROM BOOTS)
- Warm Clothing (pants, sweater, Jacket and possibly rain coat, etc to wear in layers)
- Rain coat (Breathable is best)
- Polarized glasses
- Good sun hat
